    William Henry Gates the Third, also known as Bill Gates born in Seattle, Washington, USA on October 28, 1955.
 He was the extraordinary man who invented Microsoft! When he was 13 when he started enjoying computers and started a partnership with his good friend Paul Allen and went to work. They made a program called "Traf-o-Data" which monitored traffic patterns in Seattle. Bill and Paul wanted to make a company but Bill's parents wanted Bill to finish school and go on to college and become a lawyer. But Bill and Paul had other plans.
    Bill ended up going to Harvard university. Bill and Paul saw a computer called the "Altair 8800" and they decided to make software for it. Once the company who made the Altair agreed they set to work. They got 2.5 million for the program! Bill was only 23. IBM and the 2 friends teamed up to make a great computer program. From 1978-1981 Microsoft went nuts! They made huge $$$! This started Microsoft and Bill was the leader! A happy ending!
